You can make your reservations on the isFerry.com website 24 hours a day and 7 days of the week with your credit card or bank transfer.
You can reach isFerry.com by telephone, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 A.M. - 16:30 P.M. (GMT+1) and on Saturdays 8:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (GMT+1) (except for holidays).
isFerry.com attempts to read all incoming emails even during the hours not mentioned above. However, we cannot guarantee that all your requests will be executed after office hours.
Warning: The port agencies and kiosks of the ferry-operators open 2-3 hours prior to departure. Please pick up your boarding passes on time.

The travel agency T.r.a.v.e.l.t.i.c.k.e.t. - Online Travel Reservations & Tourist Enterprises Sarl operates in compliance with Luxembourg laws and under the license number 10067186/0 of the Luxembourg National Tourist Organization. T.r.a.v.e.l.t.i.c.k.e.t. - Online Travel Reservations & Tourist Enterprises Sarl. is official partner with all the tourist companies whose electronic addresses are mentioned above. The company T.r.a.v.e.l.t.i.c.k.e.t. - Online Travel Reservations & Tourist Enterprises Sarl., and the addresses mentioned above, will be referred to as “agency” from now on.
The “Agency” is a reseller of tour services such as flight and ferry bookings, hotel bookings, car rentals, etc., in accordance with Luxembourg laws.
All financial transactions as well as credit card billing are done through T.r.a.v.e.l.t.i.c.k.e.t. - Online Travel Reservations & Tourist Enterprises Sarl. (License No. 10067186/0). T.r.a.v.e.l.t.i.c.k.e.t. - Online Travel Reservations & Tourist Enterprises Sarl. headquarters are situated in Luxembourg (46, Rue Maximilien, L-6463 Echternach).
-HIGHSPEED, SEAJETS, CATAMARAN, DOLPHIN and FAST FERRIES: There are designated luggage areas on the boats. No excess charges. Take anything of "value" with you in a small carry bag.
-REGULAR and CONVENTIONAL FERRIES: There are designated luggage areas on the boats (by embarkation). No luggage restrictions, no excess charges. Take anything of "value" with you in a small carry bag.
All passengers must have a valid passport and any other official travel documents required. The shipping company or ferry operator does not assume liability if authorities deny passage for any reason. The shipping company reserves the right to deny embarkation to any individual who does NOT carry valid travel documents. In the event of a fine being imposed on the company by the immigration office, the amount will be charged to the passenger who failed to provide the proper legal documents. If immigration officials deny entrance to a country, the passenger will be responsible for all costs in returning to the place of departure. Official identification documents must be also submitted for children and infants. All citizens of the European Union and Swiss must have an ID card when entering Greece. Citizens of all states or stateless persons are advised to ask for the regulations at the responsible embassy or consulate and to conform to them. All passengers and items brought on board the vessel are liable to be searched. Passengers refusing to comply with this demand shall be denied access on board and will be reported to the port authorities. All passengers are obliged to present the boarding pass and a valid passport or ID card to authorized members of the crew upon request. The company reserves the right to refuse embarkation to passengers who don’t present valid boarding passes, ID cards or passports and fail to prove their identity. After embarkation passengers are not allowed to leave the vessel until departure. On disembarkation passengers are obliged to take all of their luggage and their vehicle along. Should you intend to carry along any firearms, you must declare it upon booking.
CHECK-IN / EMBARKATION
All passenger either with or without vehicle must follow the check-in procedure at that point they receive their boarding tickets. The collection of boarding ticket is compulsory in order to go onboard. The boarding ticket must be kept until disembarkation!
Passengers must proceed to the embarkation area 2 hours prior to departure (International routes) or 1 hour before departure (domestic routes). Passengers with vehicles or those who have booked camping on board must proceed to the embarkation area 3 hours before departure. The company reserves all rights of cancellation after the expiry of the term (without any refund whatsoever).
Let us remind you that check-in ends 30 minutes before departure.
In order to check-in, you need:
1. the reference- and booking number (confirmation) of your reservation
2. a valid ID card or passport for every booked passenger
3. registration certificate and driver’s licence (in case you travel with a vehicle)
- A ticket is non-transferable
- The shipping company reserves the right to deny embarkation (without a refund of expenses) in case the required documents are not presented.
- On embarkation the vehicle must be driven solely by the driver in compliance with SOLAS-safety rules.
- Accompanying persons and passengers without vehicles go on board on foot.
- The captain and/or the embarkation personnel are entitled to determine the sequence of the vehicles during embarkation and their accommodation on any deck of the ship.
- On the parking deck the driver will be given a receipt with details on the parking space.
- According to safety instructions passengers are not allowed to enter the parking decks during the journey. Make sure that you have taken all necessary luggages for the passage from your vehicle.
On check-in the company is entitled to control the measurements of a vehicle. In case the measurements do not correspond with those stated at the reservation the company can demand excess payment where applicable
ENTRY TO TURKEY WITH A VEHICLE
Tourists accompanying a vehicle and want to enter Turkey must have their vehicle registered in the owner’s passport for control upon exit. (The vehicle must be registered on the driver’s name). Therefore it is advisable to use a passport for the entry.
REDUCED FARE TICKETS FOR DOMESTIC ROUTES
Reduced prices on the regular fare for students are only valid upon presentation of a local student pass. Students of foreign institutions can opt for the passenger category TEENAGERS and ADULTS.
REDUCED FARE TICKETS
A. Student Discount Tickets (for journeys outside Greece and Italy-Greece or vice versa)
Discounts apply only to students studying at any educational institution and holding a student ID (required to show it at check-in).
B. Student Discount Tickets (for journeys in Greece)
Discounts apply only to students studying in Greek educational institutions and holding the student's identity card.
C. Discount Tickets in General
IsFerry displays all the ticket discounts offered by shipping companies in its application. As these tickets are sought after but their number is limited, there are cases where the offered discount price is not confirmed during the booking process for various reasons (e.g. inability of the shipping company to confirm them, delays in the booking process, redemption procedure, etc.) or confirmed at a regular price! Although isFerry will attempt to secure the discount ticket price, it is possible to claim the extra difference between the regular price and the discounted one in order to complete the reservation. In this case, the customer has the right to agree to repayment of the new price or to withdraw from the reservation and to claim refund of the total amount paid without the right of any additional financial or other claim to isFerry and the responsible company of the ticket reservation. IsFerry and the responsible company of the ticket reservation will immediately return the total amount paid in EURO in the same way as it was paid (e.g. on the Credit Card or PayPal account or wire transfer reimbursement, etc.).
Any handling fees (e.g. exchange differences, any bank charges, etc.) for the refund of the paid amount will be charged to the customer in full.
Should you wish to cancel your reservation, you are requested to navigate to the central menu and click "MY BOOKING" in order to redirect to the respective cancellation form. Cancellations by telephone cannot be accepted.
CANCELLATION* OF THE ELECTRONIC BOOKING BY isFerry.com
a. Insufficient or false data of the passengers and of the person responsible for the booking (e.g. unknown or misleading telephone numbers and/or electronic addresses, incorrect or false stated names, incorrect or false information on the vehicle, e.g. measurements etc.)
b. Incorrect data of the legitimate owner of the credit card.
c. Upon neglected or insufficient response to the “agency” or its partners concerning required documents (passport, ID card, verification of the legitimate owner of the credit card etc.)
*= in case of cancellation that is due to one or more of the reasons mentioned above (a, b, c), the user/passenger is charged to a cancellation fee where applicable.
MODIFICATION OF BOOKING
In case you wish to alter your reservation, please contact us on time. Each modification or re-booking of the whole or partial reservation that has been confirmed, is charged by the “agency” with forty (40) Euro for international (per reservation) and with twenty five (25) Euro for Greek domestic routes (per reservation) plus any charges levied by the ferry Operator/Shipping co.

(additional to cancellation fees of the respective ferry operator)
-In case of cancellation or no-show the “agency” holds the amount of forty (40) Euros for international and domestic routes (per reservation) and the amount of twenty five (25) Euros for Greek domestic routes (per reservation).
-Any costs that may arise through the use of credit cards or bank transfers or any other payment method are exclusively chargeable to the customer
-Cancellations and refunds can only be settled via the agency. The port agency may cancel a booking but the refund process can only be done via the agency.
-The agency has the right to keep the full amount of the ticket if the passenger interrupts his voyage at an intermediate port or fails to use part of his/her ticket.
-If there are financial discrepancies as a result of cabin downgrading or vehicle changes, the difference in cost is non-refundable.
In any case we recommend you a travel cancellation insurance coverage!
CANCELLATION FEES BY THE SHIPPING COMPANIES
Adriatic routes (e.g. Italy-Greece)
- 0% if the passage is not executed due to force majeure (e.g. severe weather)
- Up to 45 days prior to scheduled departure: cancellation of the ticket without any surcharge
- Up to 44-31 days prior to scheduled departure: 25% of the full fare is applied as cancellation fees
- Up to 30-21 days prior to scheduled departure: 50% of the full fare as cancellation fees
- Up to 20-14 days prior to scheduled departure: 75% of the full fare as cancellation fees
- Up to 13 days prior to departure or after departure: 100% of the full fare as cancellation fees.
Cancellation of discounted fares (e.g. early booking deals, spring offers etc)
- In case of cancellation after booking customers will not be refunded
Greek inland routes
- 0% if the passage is not executed due to force majeure (e.g. severe weather)
- Up to 31 days prior to scheduled departure: cancellation of the ticket without any surcharge
- Up to 30-21 days prior to scheduled departure: 25% of the full fare is applied as cancellation fees
- Up to 20-14 days prior to scheduled departure: 50% of the full fare as cancellation fees
- Up to 13-8 days prior to scheduled departure: 75% of the full fare as cancellation fees
- Up to 7 days prior to scheduled departure or after departure: 100% of the full fare as cancellation fees.
Remaining European routes (e.g. Italy-Spain, Italy-Sardinia, Italy-Sicily etc.)
- 0% if the passage is not executed due to force majeure (e.g. severe weather)
- Up to 50 days prior to scheduled departure: cancellation of the ticket without any surcharge
- 49-40 days prior to scheduled departure: 25% of the full fare is applied as cancellation fees
- 39-40 days prior to scheduled departure: 50% of the full fare as cancellation fees
- 29-15 days prior to scheduled departure: 75% of the full fare as cancellation fees
- 14 days prior to scheduled departure or after departure: 100% of the full fare as cancellation fees.
Cancellation of discounted fares (e.g. early booking deals, spring offers, discounted advanced bookings etc.)
- Any ticket booked under a special fare tariff is not refundable after the booking
- Cancellation and refunds can only be settled through the “agency”. Port Agencies can make cancellations without obligation to refund.
- The “agency” is entitled to hold the full fare in case the passenger terminates the journey early or makes no use or partial use of the round trip.
- In case of cancellations of tickets which were changed before (category of cabins, seats and vehicles with low fare tariffs) the difference in price is not refundable for any reason.
- The refund may take place in a 3 month period after the last date of travel. A request for refund must be made in writing.
1. Valid for SeaJets shipping co. / ferry operator:
-31 days before the departure: 25,00 Euro cancellation/modification/alteration fees (isFerry.com fees).
-30 days before departure or in the event that the passenger does not show up on boarding, this ticket can not be changed, modified or canceled (part or whole) for any reason whatsoever. This ticket is non-refundable.
2. Valid for Hellenic Seaways and Grimaldi Lines: Upon finalizing the booking, ticket(s) can not be changed, modified or canceled (part or whole) for any reason whatsoever. The ticket(s) are non-refundable.
3. Early booking tickets: The ticket(s) are non-refundable.
4. The answers above are indicative only. The precise conditions of cancellation fees for your chosen shipping company can be seen at the last stage/step of the on-line booking process, before you enter your payment details.
5. The terms of cancellation of the agency differ from those of the respective shipping company/ferry operator in order to enable the functionality of the on-line booking procedure.
In any case we recommend you a travel cancellation insurance coverage!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN OUR PRICES?
The total cost displayed for ferry fare is inclusive of ferry ticket cost, fuel surcharges (if applicable), VAT, taxes (government taxes, port taxes), service fees and transaction fees. The fee amount itself depends on the ferry operator, the destination, the total cost, the type of agreement between the Agency and the ferry operator (tickets / availability, prepayments etc.) and the type of credit card.
NOTE WHEN ENTERING TURKEY: The ticket price of the Greece-Turkey and Turkey-Greece crossings (Chios-Cesme, Cesme-Chios, Rhodes-Marmaris, Marmaris-Rhodes, Kos-Bodrum, Bodrum-Kos, Rhodes-Fethiye and Fethiye-Rhodes) DOES NOT INCLUDE the Turkish port taxes (from 2,00 to 15.00 euros). They shall be paid at the local port by embarkation.
PROCEDURE OF TICKET FARES’ REFUND
In case you have already received your paper-tickets (boarding card) from the local port agencies/kiosks/ferry operator desk and the passage is cancelled for any reason (strike, protest, bad weather conditions etc.), the original tickets should be send to our representative by post in order to request a full compensation. (Takt Tours Ltd., Leof. Marathonos 21, 19005 Nea Makri-Athens, Greece). Refunds may take place in a 3 month period after the last date of travel.
Moreover, in case a ticket is cancelled, either after the client's decision or because of a problem in the ticket or because of other reasons, isFerry.com is not responsible if the exchange currency has changed and the client is refunded with less or more money.
FERRY TICKET BOOKING PROCEDURE
a) Searching for itinerary, b) Instant availability*, c) Ferry operator and route selection, d) Completing passenger's data and person's in charge, e) Completing credit card's details, f) Commitming ticket's cost, g) Confirming or rejecting the reservation (unacceptable reservation due to e.g. insufficient availability, no sufficient balance on the credit card account, system error etc.), h) Charging the ticket cost on the credit card account, i) Printing off the electronic pre-paid confirmation and the booking reference number(s) (if confirmed), j) The day of departure collecting the pre-paid tickets from the port office of the respective ferry operator (if booking is confirmed), k) Embarkation (if booking is confirmed).
In case the confirmation do not appear on the computer's screen and the printing off isn't possible, the reservation hasn't be completed (unacceptable reservation due to e.g. insufficient availability, no sufficient balance on the credit card account, system error etc.) and the boarding is not allowed.
*= The availability is only a snapshot and does not guarantee successful confirmation booking/reservation. There are cases that reservation confirmation fails during the final stage of completion for various reasons! In this case the agency (isFerry.com) refunds immediately the full amount to your credit card's account. Any perhaps delay is due to interbanking agreements.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PAYMENTS WITH CREDIT CARD
There is a small possibility that your card can be charged and the reservation will not be completed due to insufficient availability! In this case we'll refund you the full amount to your credit card account. Although our company unlocks the paid reservation amount of the holder’s/passenger’s credit card immediately, there are repayment delays due to interbanking agreements and are in no way related with isFerry.com
We recommend that you avoid any booking repetition and please contact us in order to get alternative route proposals via our trained staff (tel.: +44 (0) 203 807 0217, E-Mail: email@example.com) - especially in peak seasons: Easter, Holidays, July, August, etc. For bookings within peak seasons, we also recommend you to select payment with "Bank transfer / deposit", thereby preventing premature failure due to parallel booking processes.
DISCOUNTED STUDENT TICKETS FOR GREEK DOMESTIC ROUTES
Student rates are only valid for student card holders studying in Greek institutions. Students institutions abroad should select JUNIOR or ADULT passenger type.
In order to simplify the usage of the page, the “agency” has encoded all bookable services like for example cabin category, vehicle type etc. The codes vary from those of the respective shipping companies. The codes used by the shipping companies in the 4th step of your reservation procedure and can be seen on screen (prior to “general terms & conditions) as well as after the finishing of your reservation as information on your e-ticket, apply in any case. After accepting the terms & conditions the user has no right to stake out claims regarding variations of coding between the “agency” and shipping companies.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
All reservations that are made through the web page of the “agency” are immediately valid. After the settlement of the ticket price by credit card the confirmed e-ticket becomes visible on screen and the booking is valid.
Reservations that are paid by bank transfer are notional and cannot be confirmed before the arrival of a copy of the transaction statement at the “agency” and according to the availability of the booked services from the shipping company.
Should the confirmation of the requested services not be possible, the “agency” is liable to generate alternative service of equal value. If this is not possible customers shall be refunded with the full amount.
PASSENGERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Due to a limited number of special designed cabins for disabled passengers, it is absolutely necessary to book such cabins in advance. When making your reservation, please let us know what kind of assistance you are going to need aboard and if you bring a wheelchair, a wheeled walker or any other means on board. For further information please contact the check-in office at the port.
CAMPING ON BOARD
Camping on board with Minoan Lines is available the whole year and with Anek-Superfast Ferries from 1st of April to 31st of October. Due to limited space for camping on board, it is advisable to book well in advance. For safety reasons, cooking and the use of gas or fire is strictly forbidden. Please pay attention to the camping on board instructions for guests available on board.
Passengers with roof boxes, bicycle stands and/or other items loaded on the vehicle may be charged a fee by the shipping company.
The carriage of pets throughout Europe must comply with the entry and exit requirements of the respective countries. Some shipping companies charge additional fees for the carriage of pets.
-Printed paper/original ferry tickets are unique. It is not possible to reprint them!
-The passenger must buy new tickets, state the loss in writing to the company (firstname.lastname@example.org) and include all of the lost ticket's details (day and time of travel, itinerary, ticket no.) and a copy of the new tickets and forward us via fax (+30 2294094844)
-Following an audit conducted by the company and within 1 month from the day of submission of such request, provided that the lost ticket has not been used to travel, the passenger may receive a free ticket the total value of which will amount to that of the lost ticket.
The shipping company is not liable for the loss of luggage, money or other valuable items left in open storage spaces or cabins. Please report the loss of any personal belongings during the voyage to the reception desk on board or to the check-in office after the voyage.
LIMITED LIABILITY / OBLIGATION
The “agency” acts as an intermediary between the cooperating shipping companies, their services and the users/clients of the webpage. As middleman the “agency” does not accept liability and will not reimburse any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike or any other problems caused by force majeure unless there is an agreement and a written instruction from the shipping company. Furthermore, the “agency” cannot be held liable to compensate clients in case of suspended operations of a ferry operator i.e. bankruptcy.
The amount paid to the “agency”, by any means of payment, for your reservation and ticket issuance is attributed directly and in advance to the corresponding ferry operator. As soon as the “agency” finalizes your booking and your reservation code and/or ticket numbers, produced by the ferry operator’s booking system is communicated to you, any liability regarding your payment is immediately transferred to the ferry company.
All departure and arrival times are scheduled by the shipping company and apply to local time in the corresponding countries. The “agency” does not bear any responsibility for incurred costs (Hotel accommodation, upgraded flight- or ferry tickets etc.), that incur due to cancellations, alterations in the timetables of the ferry operators for any reasons.
In case a passenger does not present valid travel documents, embarkation may be denied. The passenger bears responsibility alone.
In the event of an immigration official refusing entry the passenger bears all incurred costs for the return journey. In case a fine is imposed by the port authorities, the passenger only is responsible for the payment.
The “agency” assumes no liability in case of changes of the itinerary caused by force majeure (severe weather). In that case compensation through the “Agency” is not possible.
The “agency” assumes no liability for the implementation of the mediated travel services and cannot guarantee or warrant the adequacy or quality of the presented travel services. Likewise, the “agency”, which is acting as intermediary, assumes no liability regarding warranty for the availability of the travel services. Information about mediated travel services is based on information given by the responsible suppliers to the “agency”. It does not constitute any guarantee or warrant from the “agency” to you.
The “agency” is not liable for the correctness of the stated data and information (prices, descriptions etc.) on the webpage, but we can reassure you that the “agency” will do anything possible in order to avoid errors or else to correct false information.
In case of a legal disputes the general terms and conditions of the “agency” and not those of the shipping company remain valid.
