Cruise on the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas with the smooth, fast and consistent Toremar and visit the Tuscan Islands starting from the Italian west coast!

The shipping company with the full name of Toscana Regionale Marittima, has been bought by Moby Lines and now its ships operate under Moby’s management. It is an operator with many years of experience in the field of tourist transportation since it was founded in 1976 and has been active in the seas for more than 30 years.

The carrier is connecting Livorno, Piombino and P.S. Stefano in the western coast of Italy, with the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. More specifically, the ships are landing on three ports on Elba Island (Portoferraio, Rio Marina and Cavo), on Giglio, Capraia, Giannutri, Pianosa and the isolated Gorgona.
Eight vessels are in the company’s possession, both ferries and hydrofoils and are guaranteeing smooth voyages no matter the weather conditions, maximum safety, friendliness towards the environment, regular and continuous service while also always up-to-date customer information. Their biggest one is Rio Marina Bella with a capacity of 900 passengers while Schiopparella is the smallest with a capacity of 145.

All Toremar ferries have been renovated in 2015 (engines and facilities) and this is a factor of their big success since they were awarded as the “World’s First SmartFerries”.

In the internal facilities you can find battery charging totems, multimedia social corners and free wifi all over the ship. All areas are also air-conditioned, there are play areas for children, cafeterias and sunny decks to go and enjoy the endless Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas.

Every year, 1.5 million travelers using Toremar are recorded and around 8.000 crossings with most of them happening between Italy’s mainland and Elba, Giglio and Capraia due to the fact that they are the three biggest and most touristic islands of Tuscany.
